Empower Us: Feeding The Families Project

The Empower Us: Feed the Families Initiative is our community-driven effort to ensure that families and senior residents do not go without support during challenging times. With many households in our county at risk of losing or experiencing delays in SNAP benefits, we are committed to stepping in with compassion, resources, and consistent food assistance.

Through this initiative, we:

• Prepare and distribute nutritious food boxes for families and individuals in need.
• Provide delivery services for seniors, homebound residents, and households with limited transportation.
• Collaborate with local churches, organizations, and volunteers to reach families across the community.
• Maintain ongoing outreach and follow-up, ensuring care continues beyond a single moment of crisis.

This is more than an Initiative, it is a reflection of neighbors supporting neighbors, and a commitment to nourishing both bodies and spirits.
